Scott P. McGuire Eagle Project: September 11, 2001 Memorial
On the well-manicured Baptist Common stands a small obelisk about 6 feet high. There are inscriptions on each of the obelisk's four sides which read as follows:
At the base of the obelisk is a small plaque stating that the memorial, which was dedicated in 2005, was the result of an Eagle Scout project spearheaded by Scott P. McGuire, age 14, of Troop 33 in North Attleborough. The memorial is surrounded by a brick walkway and has a flag pole directly behind it.
- Side 1 - In honor and memory of all the victims of September 11, 2001. United in memory.
- Side 2 - Dedicated to those who were lost in New York City. May we never forget.
- Side 3 - Dedicated to those who were lost in Washington, D.C.
- Side 4 - Dedicated to those who were lost in Pennsylvania.
